Terms of Service

Last updated: October 11, 2026

These terms apply to your use of PureFax, an iPhone app operated by Dao Drops. By using PureFax you agree to them. Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

The service

PureFax sends documents you provide to fax numbers in the United States and Canada. Premium-rate numbers are not supported. Each fax can be up to 30 pages long, and sending may be rate-limited to prevent abuse.

Credits

Delivery

"Queued" means the fax was accepted for sending. "Delivered" means the receiving fax machine confirmed it. We can't guarantee delivery to a specific line, since that depends on the receiving equipment and telephone networks outside our control.

Your responsibilities

You confirm that you have the right to send each document and that the recipient expects it. You may not use PureFax to send unsolicited advertising ("junk faxes"), unlawful, harassing or deceptive content, or anything that infringes someone else's rights. We may restrict or close accounts that misuse the service.

Liability

PureFax is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, Dao Drops is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed deadlines that result from a fax being delayed or not delivered. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for credits in the 12 months before the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version.
